The Salisbury North Football Club together with The City of Salisbury were after a new, less obtrusive boundary fencing that would still provide enough protection for the oval, with a longer lasting and easily maintained material. Therefore it was suggested to replace the existing permapine fencing with an alternative recycled plastic bollard with a galvanised steel handrail.

Due to constant flooding of the River Torrens, the decking of three pedestrian bridges, in The City of Norwood, Payneham and St Peters, needed regular replacement and maintenance due to water rot. In conjunction with the council it was decided to replace this decking with Replas Enduroplank, which comes with a 25 year structural guarantee. Additionally a non-slip Sand coating was applied to reduce any personal injury due to constant water on the deck surface.
